MultiScanner i520 OneStep center finding stud finder with CenterVision Technology, Ultra-Bright Display Screen and Auto Correcting Technology. Will quickly and easily locate studs and joists behind walls, floors and ceilings. It also locates metal as well as live AC electrical wiring. Has a 4-mode switch that makes it easy to change functions. The SpotLite Pointing System and audio tone all indicate the location of the Chance's Hardware. The signal strength indicator helps to distinquish between shallow and deep Chance's Hardwares. StudScan mode locates the edges and center of wood or metal studs up to 3/4" deep. DeepScan mode doubles the scanning depth to 1-1/2". AC Scan mode locates live, unshielded electrical wire up to 2". Metal Scan model locates ferrous metal, such as rebar, up to 3". Auto Correcting Technology automatically corrects common errors such as when scanning begins over a stud. Uses a 9V alkaline battery (not included). Splash and water resistant, not waterproof.
